Most likely the breeding waters here are better for ikan bilis then anywhere else. But honestly, I don’t know. What I do know is that the ikan bilis is excellent. In fact, I am told the story over and over again by local Malaysians, the ikan bilis from Pangkor is simply better in quality then anywhere else (though no one really explains why).
