The Japanese International School had a school camp week in Teluk Rubiah with some jungle activities in Teluk Batik. All was organised by ETW, Explore the Wilderness. There were 3 different activities to do, kayaking, abseiling and rope course. Mr. Goh of ETW asked me to join the Japanese group, 10-12 years old for the rope course. Here’s a few photos:

In the evening the children had another activity to perform: cooking at the beach. As the school provides cooking lessons, it was interesting to find out how good these children could cook real Japanese curry:

I tried all 12 different curries, they were all excellent, I can tell you that.

Mr. Goh invited me to join the school camp activities he has
available in his
student adventures program
Of course he had not to ask me twice. As I know the area around Teluk Batik well enough I could observe, or at least that was what I had in mind, how Mr. Goh and his team were working. It turned out different.

Mr. Goh let me fully participate, and I can tell you from first hand: it was GREAT fun! This program is such a pleasure to run through. So, let’s see what happened those days,

The Pangkor Forum is running now, I already told you. Access to the forum you can get here. But I get every once in a while the question why the Pangkor website has no guest book. With the arrival of the forum we have a guest book. Don’t forget to sign up and leave you trace! See you in the Pangkor Forum

Pangkor has finally it’s own forum. It took some time but we have it running right now. Just released. I am very happy to announce it and I hope many of you will join and get Pangkor in the spotlight of Malaysian tourism!
