Recently I got an email, someone asked me if Pangkor island in Malaysia was a good holiday destination for families with little children. How was the sea? Is it safe? What about the food? A few weeks ago I left Sitiawan for a short bike ride. Well, short is relative as you know. I cycled 1500 km from Vientianne to Chiang Mai. And I loved it. Ok, ok, it was all big fun, especially the part between Luang Nam Tha and Huay Xai, which was a real hell. You can read more in my bike blog here.
Chiang Mai is reasonable cool with 25C. But in the last few mornigns it was all raining…. less interesting. But the holiday is almost over and I am at the point of coming back to Pangkor island and have a swim in Nipah Bay!
